Beginning as a one-person operation, Element Counseling has grown into a thriving group practice with a highly trained team of clinicians to meet your needs! We offer virtual services as well as in-person services in Arlington, TX. Our clinicians specialize in a wide range of treatment options and offer customized services to meet your needs. Whether you're looking for psychological testing, individual therapy, couples counseling, group therapy, training on mental health topics, or wanting to get trained on providing assessments, we've got you covered! We also strive to make therapy affordable by offering access to our highly skilled therapists at low self-pay rates with flexible scheduling. It is our mission to provide affordable, quality care!
Meet The Elements!
Stephanie Miller, Ph.D., LPC, CCTP
Owner & CEO

Dr. Stephanie Miller is the owner and founder of Element Counseling. As a 10-year veteran and former Law Liaison, Stephanie is uniquely familiar with the stress and trauma first responders and veterans encounter. She has spent her career specializing in complex trauma and first responders. Stephanie is independently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Texas and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Arizona. She holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminal justice, a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Forensics. In addition, Stephanie is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and is heavily involved in conducting critical incident debriefs with law enforcement and first responder agencies throughout Texas and Arizona.
Stephanie has also had the opportunity to share her experience and knowledge as a keynote speaker and panelist on Capitol Hill to advocate for alternatives to opioid use in healthcare. She was a guest speaker at Arizona State University’s Safe Spaces Speaker Series where she presented on Intergenerational Trauma and has served as a panelist and instructor at numerous mental health and law enforcement conferences throughout Texas, as well as provided instruction to local police academies and corporate entities regarding the impact of prolonged stress and trauma.
Stephanie uses a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and psychodynamic approaches to treat clients and incorporates mindfulness and meditation as well as psychoeducation to provide empirically based holistic treatment. Her areas of focus are veterans and first responders, complex trauma, LGBTQ+, ADHD and Autism, psychological testing, and immigration evaluations. She is currently accepting individual clients ages 18+ for in-person or telehealth appointments and is in network with United HealthCare, Aetna, Cigna, and BCBS for therapy, and accepts Aetna, Cigna and BCBS for psychological testing as well as self-pay. Her individual therapy session self-pay rates are $150/session. Stephanie also provides training workshops on affirming approaches to psychological evaluations for neurodivergence for other therapists, as well as regular continuing education courses regarding trauma, diagnostic considerations, and treating veterans and first responders. Venitra Bradberry, LPC-Associate
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (Supervised by Letitia Powell, LPC-S)

Venitra Bradberry is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is supervised by Letitia Powell, LPC-S, in North Houston, Texas. Venitra is currently providing virtual services to clients throughout the state of Texas. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at the University of Houston and Master of Education in Counseling and School Counseling at Lamar University. Her passion for helping others started as an investigator for child abuse and neglect. This gave her experience in providing resources and services for parents as well as children of all ages.
Venitra brings over a decade of experience specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and has dedicated her career to supporting individuals as they overcome obstacles and develop healthy living habits and relationships. Her approach is client-centered, focusing on individual needs and fostering resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth. By integrating evidence-based practices with a compassionate and collaborative approach, she has successfully guided many individuals through their personal journeys towards well-being and fulfillment.

Venitra believes that she and her clients are a team. Her extensive background in CBT allows her to help clients identify and modify negative thought patterns, leading to more positive behaviors and improved mental health. Additionally, her expertise in SFT empowers clients to leverage their existing strengths and resources to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Venitra specializes in adolescents and individuals who face anxiety, challenges navigating identity and phases of life. Additionally, she concentrates on BIPOC, women's issues along with body image and disordered eating. Her focus with couples includes premarital counseling, reconciliation, separation and uncoupling, infidelity recovery, as well as LGBTQ+ couples. She is currently accepting telehealth clients ages 13+ with evening and weekend availability and is in network with Aetna and Cigna, or self-pay rates at $75/session for individuals and $100/session for couples.

Jahzel Montaño
Counseling Intern (Supervised by Stephanie Miller, Ph.D., LPC, CCTP)

Jahzel Montaño obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. Upon graduating, she began working her lifelong passion of working with children who had lived through traumatic experiences caused by abuse and neglect. This work along with her own personal experiences in childhood have fueled her desire to pursue a path of diving in deeper.
Jahzel is presently a student at Northwestern University seeking to obtain her Masters in Counseling and is completing her practicum through Element Counseling. Jahzel brings a wealth of life experience and empathy to her work to help clients understand their own journey and walk alongside them through the process. Jahzel uses a psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach to explore past experiences and identify how those experiences have shaped individual's views of themselves and the world around them. This approach allows her clients to process and validate past experiences while identifying strengths and areas of control to increase their sense of identity, self-worth, and stability. Her areas of focus are trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, life transitions and identity, LGBTQ+, and ADHD. Jahzel is currently accepting self-pay clients ages 8+ through telehealth in the states of Arizona and Texas with evening availability.
Kyle Pearson
Counseling Intern (Supervised by Stephanie Miller, Ph.D., LPC, CCTP)

Kyle is currently attending graduate school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, specializing in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Aviation Management from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, as a former first-responder and Air Force veteran, Kyle is highly skilled and familiar with helping first responders navigate the unique challenges they and their families face.
In addition to his work with the military and first responders, Kyle is also an aviation enthusiast and licensed pilot and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. Kyle is passionate about providing counseling and mental health services to those in need, aiming to make a
meaningful impact in his community. He uses a Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach to help his clients identify and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs, and learn practical strategies to gain control over thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. His areas of focus are veterans and first responders, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, trauma, and relational issues. Kyle is currently accepting self-pay clients ages 18+ through telehealth in the states of Texas and Arizona with evening and weekend availability.
Shanley Stuteville
Counseling Intern (Supervised by Stephanie Miller, Ph.D., LPC, CCTP)

Shanley is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Psychology at Dallas Baptist
University and is completing her graduate internship at Element Counseling. She also graduated
from DBU with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her unique life experiences have led her to
the mental health field, and she believes that life’s challenges can be a platform for positive
personal growth. She is passionate about helping children and adolescents who may be
experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, as well as self-esteem,
and social issues. Shanley uses a Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach to facilitate development of positive balanced beliefs and implement practical strategies and coping skills to allow her clients to live their most full and authentic lives. She is currently accepting self-pay clients for virtual or in-person sessions with evening and weekend availability.
Nicole Zembery
Counseling Practicum Student (Supervised by Stephanie Miller, Ph.D., LPC, CCTP)

Nicole is currently working toward her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University and is completing her graduate practicum and internship at Element Counseling. Nicole's background and experience have provided her the unique opportunities to develop an exceptional ability to create a safe, supportive, and affirming space for clients to explore their experiences. She is passionate about using her skills in the areas of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy to help children, adolescents, and young adults achieve their personal goals and achieve mental wellness. Her areas of focus are emotional regulation, grief, adjustment issues and life changes, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and stress management. Nicole is currently accepting clients ages 8+ for in-person and virtual appointments with evening and weekend availability.
Aly Miller
Administrative & Marketing Director

Aly Miller is the Administrative & Marketing Director of Element Counseling. She recently graduated with her BA in Journalism and a minor in Creative Media Industries from Texas Tech University. Aly brings a wealth of knowledge related to the ever-changing world of social media, marketing and journalism. Through her studies she has learned how to promote social issues and concerns through various media platforms. She has completed internships with KLBK-TV in Lubbock, TX as a sports and news reporter, and hopes to continue her career bringing awareness to social issues and injustices throughout our society. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, watching sports, spending time with friends, and being a mom to "the best furbaby in the world", Leonardo DiCaprio DiVinci Miller, who is an Australian Shepard/Husky mix.
